Dr. Hal Movius is an applied psychologist whose work and writing focuses on negotiation, confidence, emotional intelligence, personality, and leadership. He is author of Resolve: Negotiating Life’s Conflicts with Greater Confidence and co-author of Built to Win: Creating a World Class Negotiating Organization. A research collaborator at Ethical Systems and the Virginia Affective Neuroscience lab, Dr. Movius is also senior consultant to the Consensus Building Institute and has taught at the Program on Negotiation at Harvard Law School and at the Darden Graduate School of Business. His company, Movius Consulting, provides tailored coaching, consulting, and training to organizations around the world. He lives in Virginia with his wife and two children.
